It follows three very different families who compete for the same Spanish-style mansion in the 1920s. They think all their problems will be solved. Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002 to present). It’s surprising that the series is so underrated, but seeing so many reviews explains how they didn’t show up after the first episode. The show is a slow, mysterious romp that may not be for everyone. Personally, I find Liz Feldman funny and entertaining. I really like the cast and everyone’s performances. Due to my bias (I couldn’t tell him apart from Everyone Loves Raymond for the life of me), I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first, but that quickly wore off. All the different characters have their own stories that form a tangled web that gradually, though not completely, unravels. Despite the major plot twist being set up so quickly, I was pretty invested in the story by the last episode. I’m not mad, though. I would love to see more of this show and I really hope they get a second season.
