Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and based on the short story by George R.R. Martin, the story centers on a queen who, desperate to win her love, makes a daring play: she sends the powerful and feared sorceress Gray Alice (Milla Jovovich) into the ghostly wilderness. In search of a magical power, the sorceress and her guide, the drifter Boyce (Dave Bautista), must battle against man and demon alike in the lost lands.
